FOUNDING PRINCIPLES
Brian Fox-Krawczyk
Brian Fox Krawczyk learned beauty where it is made: in the laboratories of L'Oréal, Procter & Gamble, and Mana—the places where formulas are written long before brands tell stories about them. Over twenty-five years he led the development of products for MAC, NARS, Smashbox, Chanel, Dior, Guerlain, La Prairie. The brands tell different stories. He has spent his career fluent in the materials beneath them.
At Mana, where he led the contract division for five years, he grew revenue from seventeen million to one hundred and twenty-two million—through what he describes as discipline more than expansion.
In 2015 he founded Genealogy Beauty, a contract laboratory of his own, and built it into a multi-million dollar facility over ten years.
Across that career he carried a particular conviction: that scent, composed precisely, can transform the moment in which it is worn. He had been waiting for the perfumers who could interpret it.
He founded PointNine in 2024 and selected MANE Paris as his perfumers because of their breakthrough alcohol-free technology—Aquafine™—the chemistry he had been waiting for.

BENJAMIN BÉLIZON
Benjamin Bélizon is a French perfumer whose work is defined by global perspective, technical precision, and a sensorial curiosity shaped by constant movement. Born near Paris, he pursued formal studies in chemistry before training at ISIPCA and further refining his craft at MANE under the mentorship of Max Gavarry, where he developed a signature approach rooted in clarity and direct formulation.Since joining MANE in 2011, Bélizon has built an international career across China, Brazil, and Dubai, creating fine fragrance, hair care, and body care compositions informed by regional materials and cultural immersion. His olfactive language balances freshness with unexpected contrasts, often anchored by a distinctive use of creamy, sensual notes such as vanilla and tonka. Known for translating lived experience into scent, Bélizon approaches perfumery as both exploration and expression—crafting compositions that are at once evocative, transportive, and precisely constructed.
UGO CHARRON
Ugo Charron is a French perfumer whose work is distinguished by synesthetic creativity, technical rigor, and a vibrant, cross-disciplinary sensibility. Raised in the Sancerre wine region, his early exposure to the aromatic landscape of viticulture informs a lasting sensitivity to raw materials and composition. He trained in chemistry alongside formal studies in Grasse, Berlin, and New York, developing a foundation that balances precision with expressive freedom. Since joining MANE's New York creative team in 2020, Charron has brought a distinctly contemporary voice to fragrance, drawing from his parallel practices in music and visual art. As one half of the electronic duo Cosmic Gardens, his work reflects a dynamic interplay of structure and spontaneity. Charron approaches perfumery as an instinctive, multi-sensory process—translating color, sound, and emotion into compositions that are luminous, modern, and emotionally resonant.
